Since moving up north again, I've become obsessed with all things fluffy, cozy and warm. My goal is to make it through the winter spending the least amount of time possible being cold. And that's difficult considering my ideal temperature is right about 80.
So, I needed to increase my supply of fuzzy wearables. And of course I wanted to make them myself. I had a friend teach me the basics of crochet, and my other friend (YouTube) helped me when I got stuck. I started out with a scarf, then made a matching hat. I was pretty happy with how they turned out. And apparently Gerry was too, since he requested the next hat. All in all it was worth the time learning this new skill to increase my arsenal of fluffy things to help me survive winter.
